What Is Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy is a safe, clinically proven treatment modality for a variety of conditions, and has been shown to eliminate pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing. The application of cold laser therapy delivers billions of photons of visible and invisible (infrared) light deep into tissues. This light gets absorbed by chromophores and cytochromes in the tissue cells (biology!) which convert this light energy into chemical energy for the cell (physics!). An increase in chemical energy utilized by the tissue significantly accelerates the healing process naturally.

Will Laser Help Me?

Laser Therapy has been clinically shown to help with over 100 conditions with over 4,000 clinical studies worldwide proving its efficacy. Conditions we commonly treat include arthritis, knee pain, low back pain, sprains, strains, rotator cuff tears, tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, tennis/golfer's elbow, migraines, and many more.

Laser Therapy at Elevate

We use the TheraLase® superpulsed dual-wavelength cold laser therapy system which delivers both 660nm visible laser and 905nm superpulsed near infrared laser simultaneously to depths of up to 5 inches. This type of laser does not generate any heat, therefore minimizes the risk to tissue, while also providing enough power through superpulsing technology to minimize treatment times and maximize tissue depth. The Theralase® system we use is clinically proven, non-invasive, pain-free, and has no known side effects.
