Dr. Brandon Purdy is a devoted evidence-based Chiropractor with experience treating a variety of clients and conditions. His exposure to treating everyone from professional and semi-professional athletes to families of all ages, enables him to assist any of his clients in achieving their personalized goals.

He utilizes a variety of Chiropractic techniques and is always expanding his knowledge and skillset to better serve his clients. In addition to gentle hands-on Chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Purdy uses a variety of soft tissue and neuromobilization techniques, as well as Medical Acupuncture when warranted. He believes that modern Chiropractic Care has moved past simply adjusting the spine and has instead grown into a more multimodal approach. In addition to manual therapy, Dr. Purdy places a strong emphasis on thereapeutic exercise both for rehabilitation purposes and as an overall healthy lifestyle. He provides every client with some form of exercise programming to assist them in reaching their goals.

Background

Born and raised in Sarnia, attending Northern Collegiate, Dr. Brandon grew up active. Participating in the majority of recreational sports and activities available to him, he grew a strong interest in the health care and fitness fields at a young age. He was exposed to Chiropractic treatment after sustaining a shoulder injury in the 10th grade, at which point he was determined to become a Chiropractor.

Education

Dr. Purdy earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2016 where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honours and Clinical Honours. Prior to attending CMCC, he received his Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree from the University of Guelph. He also holds a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Dr. Purdy has additional training as a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist (CSCS) and a Certificate in Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.

Personal Life

When he's not treating clients, Dr. Purdy stays active by working out regularly. He continues to play recreational hockey, golf, volleyball, and tennis. He also enjoys cooking, travelling, and playing with his husky-mix, Kazoo.
